Christmas Comes Early for Sammy | The Amazing Maizey May

Christmas Comes Early for Sammy
Sammy came to the Humane Society from a cruelty situation.  He was blind, covered with fleas, very thin, and had no hair.  The Humane Society helped him get back to good health and find a great home.

We recently received:

Sammy

Hello,
I just wanted to thank all of you for saving my life. I finally found my forever home. It is pretty nice here, I have 2 brothers and 1 sister.  I was a little scared of them at first but they are really nice and I love to snuggle with them. I get to sleep in a people bed with my head on the pillow at night. When my mom and dad come home from work I get to play. I love my ball and squeaky fish.

I get to go to Pittsburgh for Thanksgiving to see the rest of my new family. This weekend my mom made me a Christmas stocking with my name on it. They told me that on Christmas morning it will be filled with goodies. I can’t wait!

I am really happy here. I have plenty of food to eat and I never have to worry about being hungry again. I will send pictures of all my adventures.

Thank you for saving me and taking such good care of me and loving me.  I finally found “My Forever Home."

Love,
Sammy

The Amazing Maizey May

There are angels among us ....

This is my story.  It is one you may have heard before.

I was living with 130 cats around a trailer in Deerfield Township.  The lady who lived there tried to feed us but it was difficult for her

I hid under the trailer with many others - trying to escape the dangers of the night and traffic. I remember being hungry and cold.  It was very dirty with garbage strewn around.

Then one day Human Services came to help the lady and the Humane Society came to help us cats.  It was like they say "angels are among us....."

I am now in a wonderful home, warm, well fed, safe, loved and I have a name - The Amazing Maizey May.

A special thanks to Karen Heltzel of Moments in Time Studio for the photos of Maizey May and Sammy.

The Warren County Humane Society has rescued and placed many amazing animals.  Maizey May and Sammy are just two of the many who found their forever homes in 2010.

Our thanks to all who opened their hearts and gave one of our pets a second chance and a loving home.
